Dr. McBride joins GSCS with more than 24 years of experience in educational leadership across urban, suburban, rural and charter school settings at both the middle and high school levels. Since 2021, he has served in Georgia as assistant principal at Baldwin High School in Milledgeville and Druid Hills High School in Atlanta and principal of Dooly High School in Vienna. Previously, Dr. McBride has also served as a principal in New York, Maryland and Washington, D.C.

Dr. McBride earned a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University and a doctorate in Leadership from American College of Education. He also received a Graduate Certificate in Harvard Data Wise School Improvement.
