This will be my 21st year in my educational journey. Although growing up in New York, my post-secondary education began at Florida Atlantic University, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood, Elementary and Secondary Education. After relocating to Georgia, I obtained my master’s degree in Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment, as well as an Educational Specialist Degree in Performance-Based Leadership at Valdosta State University.
Before becoming an Assistant Principal, I served as a Teacher, Instructional Coach, School Improvement Specialist, and Reading Endorsement Instructor in Fulton County Schools. Additionally, I have supported school improvement efforts in school districts throughout the state of Georgia as a Language and Literacy Specialist for the Governor’s Office of Student Achievement, as well as a Literacy Mentor at the Sandra Dunagan Deal Center at Georgia College. I have been married to my wonderful husband for the past 24 years, and together we have two amazing children!
